There is a late transfer story bubbling up at Chelsea, and it is one that fans and the club could do without.
Once again, rumours of Callum Hudson-Odoi potentially leaving the club are circulating just a week and a half before the transfer window closes.
This was always going to happen when the 19-year old has not been playing a lot at all under Frank Lampard, and he now wants assurances over his future, according to The Guardian.
However, it seems very unlikely that he will leave this window. A permanent deal is off the cards, and any loan move would only be to a top club. He would also surely need to be replaced, Chelsea would not be wise going into a season with only two natural wingers, with one of those preferring to play inverted.
As The Guardian reiterates, Hudson-Odoi does not want to leave Chelsea after coming through the academy.
He is simply seeking some clarity over his lack of playing time.
