Chelsea could quite easily be playing a game of Football Manager or career mode on FIFA right now the way they are operating in the transfer market. But what a time to be a Blues fan!

They could now be about to announce number 8, with Rennes goalkeeper Edouard Mendy looking set to join the club.
According to three top sources, Mendy to Chelsea is a done deal, with the two clubs agreeing a fee and Mendy travelling to London yesterday.
