ESPN: Chelsea in talks to sell Tiemoue Bakayoko, want a permanent deal

Chelsea could finally be looking to move Tiemoue Bakayoko on from the club, with just 12 days remaining in the current transfer window.

It looked like the flop midfielder was destined to join AC Milan on loan. However, Chelsea are now in talks with Paris Saint-Germain for Bakayoko.

The French midfielder has never managed to cement a regular place in Chelsea’s squad and has been a regular in their loan army, but now Chelsea are trying to sell him on a permanent deal, according to ESPN.

PSG would prefer a loan deal with an option to buy, but as discussions advance Chelsea are keen on selling him on a permanent deal.

PSG sporting director Leonardo is a big fan of the 26-year-old and signed him on loan from Chelsea when he was at Milan in 2018-2019.

This clearly works in the favour of both Bakayoko and Chelsea, who will surely now be keen to just get a sale over the line this close to the deadline.
