Conor Gallagher is the perfect blend of energy and skill for Leeds’ dynamic team

According to the Sun, Conor Gallagher is close to a move to Leeds on loan.

It was previously assumed he was going to Crystal Palace, but the impending move of Michy Batshuayi to South London will make that impossible, as teams can only take one player on loan from other Premier League sides.

Palace sounded like a great fit for him, but Leeds could be even better. Marcelo Bielsa required a mix of physicality and mentality, along with technical ability, that is hard to come by. Gallagher proved he’s got the lot last season on loan with Charlton and then Swansea.

A move to the Premier League was inevitable after such a strong season in the Championship, and while we thought Palace was a nice move, Leeds could be even better – provided Gallagher can break into Bielsa’s first team. The Argentine is notoriously sticky about his first team, and better players than Conor have failed to break into his plans before.
