Chelsea face Liverpool this Sunday in the headline game of the gameweek in the Premier League, and while the Reds have a team full of dangerous players, there’s one new addition the Blues won’t have to worry about.
The internet has been broken today by the news that the reigning English champions will be signing reigning Champions League holder Thiago Alcantara.
EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool have now made their move for Thiago Alcantara. Understand that a fee of around 30million Euros has been agreed with Bayern Munich for the Spain international. What a signing for the Premier League champions. https://t.co/l7XMlrBPKj

Liverpool fan site Empire of the Kop claim that it’s unrealistic that we will see him in action as soon as this weekend, and that’s no surprise.
We have our doubts that Chelsea will be playing guys like Thiago Silva, who has had far more time to train and acclimatise to his new club. The idea that Thiago might play is just outlandish.
The only issue is just how dangerous this Reds team is, even without their new man. We gave them some good games last year, and we’re now a lot stronger.
Could this be the game where we turn things round?
