Chelsea’s transfer business is far from over.
Not only are we expecting to see more players leaving the club before the window shuts early in October, Chelsea are still working on potentially two more player arrivals.
As Fabrizio Romano confirms, Chelsea are going to sign goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from Rennes, and then they will turn their attentions to West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.
there’s still no bid from Chelsea to sign Rice… they’re gonna complete Mendy deal and then Chelsea will try for Rice [West Ham insist they won’t sell him]. But at the moment no bid, nothing refused, no 45m or 60m bid…

Some Chelsea fans may feel like they are literally living out a dream this transfer window, with a host of top class players arriving at the club.
But next up is Mendy. Chelsea are close to sealing the deal now, as per The Athletic Journalist Adam Leventhal.
There was some whispers that Chelsea could end up paying close to £30 million for the Senegal international.
However, it looks like another Marina Granovskaia masterclass with The Blues about the land the keeper for around £18 million!
