Chelsea draw in behind closed doors match – Baker, Drinkwater and others get game time

Chelsea’s reconditioning and preparation continues.

The Premier League might have begun already, but there are many Chelsea players yet to have any game time yet.

There are a number of youngsters and fringe players banging on the first team door, but it is inevitable that most of these will not be involved under Frank Lampard this season and will be heading for a first, or another loan deal.

The likes of Lewis Baker, Danny Drinkwater, Davide Zappacosta, and Victor Moses will all be moving on loan once again in the coming weeks.

All of them played for Chelsea yesterday in a behind closed doors friendly match against AFC Wimbledon at Cobham Training Centre.

The game ended 1-1 and it was a vital run out for many Blues players to keep match fitness and conditioning up ahead of a long season once again.

We don’t know much more about it as not much came out from the Chelsea side. But Wimbledon boss Mark Robinson let us know here some names that featured for us!
