Chelsea defender offered to Barcelona, two Italian clubs interested

We have officially entered the final 10 days of an extended summer transfer window.

Chelsea have easily been the most active club during the window and they still have quite a bit of business to conclude.

Whilst more arrivals are not ruled out, there will most certainly be more player departures at the club.

Frank Lampard currently has five first team centre backs, so it is inevitable that one will be leaving. At the moment judging by the current circumstances, that man will be Antonio Rudiger.

He has been left out of Chelsea’s last two squads and as a result is being linked to a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Roma and AC Milan are both interested in signing the German international, according to Goal.

However, as per the same report, Rudiger has also been offered to La Liga club Barcelona, who could well be in the hunt for a new centre back in the final stages of this window.
