“A bid will come in” – West Ham brace themselves for Chelsea’s Declan Rice bid

The summer transfer window has now crept into the final week of operation and this is often when the real excitement, drama, and despair begins.

Chelsea have already had an excellent transfer window, but it appears they are searching for that final piece of the puzzle.

The West Brom draw once again reiterated how badly they need to tighten up defensively, and it seems a defensive midfielder is still a priority despite there being just 7 days left in the transfer window.

West Ham are bracing themselves for an offer from Chelsea for Declan Rice this week, and that offer will arrive, believes Ian Abrahams who was speaking on TalkSport this morning.

“A bid will come” thinks Abrahams…

He also says that David Moyes needs to sign a centre back, and of course, Chelsea could send him one of their own in the shape of German international Antonio Rudiger.

As per The Sun, West Ham are interested in signing Rudiger on loan this window, so keep an eye on that one potentially becoming part of an offer from Chelsea to sign Rice.
