Agreement for Chelsea player departure now ‘not far off’

Chelsea are continuing to make mass improvements to their first team squad during this summers transfer window in what has been a very successful task so far.

With further players expected to arrive to complete the small overhaul, some are going to have to leave the current setup in order to make room and help bring some funds back in to the club.

One player who has been touted to be leaving for months now but there has yet to be an agreement, is Tiemoue Bakayoko.

The flop midfielder looks set to join AC Milan, but the negotiations have been going on for ages now.

Finally, an agreement is now ‘not far off’, according to Sky Italy reporter Gianluca Di Marzio.

He expects an agreement to be made soon, but also reiterates that Milan are in no rush.

The deal is expected to be a loan with an option to buy, but Chelsea will get a loan fee as well.
