Willian Chelsea stay unlikely as Blues step up efforts to sign new players

Chelsea’s Willian missed out on what could have potentially been his final outing for Chelsea in the FA Cup Final at the weekend, and it now looks likely that he could have kicked his last ball for the club.

The winger was set to make his mind up over his future after Saturday’s final, and now the transfer window has opened, the Brazilian has become a free agent.

According to Goal, Frank Lampard does not know Willian’s decision, but the fact remains that Chelsea have still only offered him a two-year extension, and Willian wants three years.

Willian has offers from 5 clubs, including Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will now step up their efforts to sign new players, as per the same report, with the transfer market officially reopening on Monday.

They claim The Blues will now look to tie up a deal to sign Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen, as well as Ben Chilwell from Leicester City and Declan Rice from West Ham.
