The two circumstances that can now see Chelsea’s chances of signing winger increase

Chelsea have been linked with a number of potential new targets this summer over the last few months.

One name that keeps arising is Brentford winger Said Benrahma.

He has been reliably linked with Chelsea from a number of sources including The Guardian recently.

The 24-year old would be available for around £15 million, and it appears that the stars are aligning for Chelsea if they wish to pursue him.

His club were beaten by Fulham in the Championship playoff final last night narrowly missing out on Premier League promotion. This increases the chances of Benrahma leaving as he is likely wanting to play Premier League football now.

Chelsea are also on the brink of selling Willian as well as Pedro, two wingers leaving spaces in their current squad for Benrahma to come in.

We will wait and see whether Chelsea decide to make a move for the Algerian international or not, but either way he looks destined for the Premier League now.
