Chelsea are said to be ‘very close’ to confirming the signing of world class centre back, Thiago Silva.
The Brazilian international has seemingly played his last game for PSG narrowly losing out to Bayern Munich in the Champions League final last night.
Three top transfer news sources have all agreed that the 35-year old is now very close to joining Chelsea.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Sky Italy’s Angelo Mangiante, and The Athletic’s David Ornstein all provided very similar updates on the story over night, and its great news for Chelsea fans.

Frank Lampard has been desperate to add some experience and leadership to his leaky defence, and the PSG captain certainly brings both of that.
It now looks to be in the very final stages of completion, adding to Chelsea’s already very successful transfer window having signed Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, and Xavier Mbuyamba so far, and are looking to add a few more.
