Sky Germany: Kai Havertz to Chelsea “will be done after he plays UEL”

Chelsea fans will once again become Antonio Conte’s biggest supporters on Monday.

The former Blues boss won the Premier League title with Chelsea not so long ago, and Blues fans will be egging on his Inter side on Monday night when they face Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League Quarter Final.

This is because Kai Havertz will compete his transfer to Chelsea when Bayer’s Europa league campaign comes to an end, according to Sky Germany reporter Angelo Mangiante.

The respected and reliable reporter tweeted yesterday that the deal “will be done after he plays UEL.”

He says there is no chance he goes to any other clubs and he only wants Chelsea still.

This would coincide with my thoughts that the deal may have had an agreement that Havertz was allowed to play Europa League for Bayer before he joins Chelsea, in order for the Blues to get the fee down a little more.

We will soon see.
