As per The Guardian, Chelsea have signed the former PSG centre back with the announcement expected any moment now.
But even with Silva arriving, the report states that Chelsea could still target another centre back this window.
There are doubts over the futures of Antonio Rüdiger, Andreas Christensen, Kurt Zouma and Fikayo Tomori.
Rüdiger and Christensen have less than two years left on their deals and Zouma has been linked with PSG.
