Chelsea have announced the official signing of yet another player this transfer window!
Free agent Malang Sarr joins Ben Chilwell, Xavier Mbuyamba, Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner joining Chelsea.
The Blues website published the news just now, and have informed fans that Sarr will now spend a season out on loan.
The 21-year old centre back became a free agent after his contract with Nice ran down.
He was a product of their youth academy and made over 100 first team appearances for the club.
Sarr is a very powerful all round defender with great athleticism and a lot of potential.
As Chelsea have confirmed he will spend this season on loan but have not clarified with who yet, I would not be surprised if he doesn’t go to Bayer Leverkusen on loan as a sweetener for the pending Kai Havertz to Chelsea deal.
