We have finally seen the words ‘done deal’ from one of the most respected transfer news reporters in the business, and we have also seen the words ‘here we go’ from the oracle of transfer news.
This is when you know a deal is done.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano tweeted ‘here we go’ late yesterday as he confirmed Chelsea are about to sign former PSG centre back, Thiago Silva.
He says Silva will sign a 2-year contract with Chelsea and the deal will be completed ‘on the next days.’

This was backed up by respected Athletic reporter, David Ornstein. He claims this is now ‘a done deal’ and Silva will have a medical with Chelsea this week.

This is a massive coup for Chelsea, signing a really experienced defender who will make a massive difference to Frank Lampard’s leaky defence.
It could well be a week of transfer announcements at Stamford Bridge!
