I think the ultimate seal of approval when Chelsea sign players right now will always come from the clubs biggest legend, John Terry.
And it is safe to say that Terry more than approves of Chelsea’s latest signing, Thiago Silva.
First he commented on Chelsea’s announcement post saying “what a signing this is.”

Then he replied to a post that Chelsea tagged Silva in on Instagram welcoming him to the club….

This is a massive seal of approval. Terry would have seen how much his good friend Frank Lampard needed to sure up his defence ahead of a season where they are looking to close the gap on Premier League Champions Liverpool.
