Chelsea are looking at making a number of improvements to their squad in the transfer window that runs until the end of October.
Due to the season finish being delayed, the transfer window has been extended, and this will benefit Chelsea who have a number of players they are looking at bringing in, and some they are looking to sell.
One player who is consistently being mentioned as a top target for Chelsea this summer is Declan Rice of West Ham.
Frank Lampard is a keen admirer of the England international, and wants him back at the club he grew up playing at as soon as possible.
Matt Law of The Telegraph has been speaking about the situation on the London is Blue Podcast this morning.

Law confirms Lampard’s desire to get Rice in this summer, but he doesn’t rule out that it could be done in a later transfer window depending on circumstances.
But he is adamant that one day Rice returns to Chelsea, whether it be this window, or in the future.
He says: “I firmly believe one day he [Rice] will be a Chelsea player.”
