Chelsea pair get England call-ups after impressive seasons

Chelsea have had two players called up for the UEFA Nations League games against Iceland and Denmark.

Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham, who were both key men for Frank Lampard over the course of the last campaign, have kept their spaces in the England setup, while the injured Ross Barkley misses out.

Mount in particular had a great season, and will be hoping to pick up a start in one of the two games at least.

There’s also no room for Ben Chilwell, who looks on the verge of joining the Blues from Leicester, but is also currently not fit.

Competition for places in the nations league is hotting up, with new talents like Mason Greenwood and Kalvin Philips forcing their way into the team now.

Declan Rice, another player who Chelsea have coveted in recent times is in there, and his price will only rise as he picks up more England caps.
