Chelsea considering move for Ajax duo as cheaper alternatives to main targets

Chelsea are looking to sign new players for a number of positions during the next couple of months in the transfer window.

Two areas they are looking to improve is the goalkeeper position, and the left back position.

As reported by The Daily Mirror, priority targets for these areas are Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid, and Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.

But Chelsea could turn to cheaper alternatives with their prices being high, as per the same report.

The Blues have already dealt with Ajax this summer signing Hakim Ziyech from them, and they appear to have good business relations with the club.

Now they could look to do more deals with them to sign two of their players, goalkeeper Andre Onana, and left back Nicolas Tagliafico.

Both will cost Chelsea a lot less to sign, but both would still be quality additions to Frank Lampard’s squad.

We will see what the next few weeks brings.
