Callum Hudson-Odoi plays Sunday League football match day after Bayern match in classy gesture

Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by Bayern Munich on Saturday evening.

The Blues lost the second leg 4-1 in Germany in what was a near impossible task anyway, being 3-0 down from the first leg.

The team jetted back after the game late on Saturday evening, and then at 10.30am on Sunday, Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi turned out for a Sunday League football team in London, as reported by The Daily Mail.

The 19-year old took the kick off for a team called Saha FC in an anti-knife crime event held in Croydon.

The youngster tweeted about the event shortly after showing his support.

What a great gesture from the Chelsea star, especially after only just travelling back from Germany the night before.

It sounds like he only took the kick off and wasn’t involved in any more of the action, which Chelsea will obviously be pleased of avoiding any injury risks!
