(Video): Mason Mount explains what he did during the break to improve his form

Mason Mount was one of Chelsea’s most important players in the win against Watford.

While he didn’t score or assist a goal directly, he was hugely involved in a lot of the best actions of the team both offensively and defensively. It was notable that he dropped deeper than usual, picking passes and eventually threading one to Ross Barkley who was able to play in Olivier Giroud for the opener.

Speaking to Chelsea TV after the game, the midfielder explained that over the coronavirus break he had taken time to assess his game and work out how better to help the team outside of the final third.
