Frank Lampard managed his Blues to a much needed win tonight, and the key man was Christian Pulisic.
The American won a penalty (and could have had another) in a sparkling performance which really should have earned him the man of the match award.
After the game Frank Lampard was asked about the winger and comparisons between him and Eden Hazard, the player he effectively replaced at Chelsea.
As you might expect from someone as smoothly media trained as Lampard, he refused to be drawn on the subject. But you can see from the twinkle in his eye that he’s exceptionally pleased with his young emerging superstar.
