Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech are officially Chelsea players from today

Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech have both become official Chelsea players from today!

Both had agreed deals to join the club from July the 1st, and have now began their Chelsea contracts.

The two players will arrive in London today and Lampard is ‘formulating a plan’ for them to get involved in first team training as soon as possible.

They might not train with the group initially, but they will begin physical training right away.

Of course none of them can actually play for Chelsea until next season officially begins, due to not being registered for the current season. But at least they will be able to get involved, meet their new team mates, and start kicking a ball with them all.

It marks an exciting time for Chelsea, as they continue to get linked with signing more top class marquee players.

The Blues are expected to make a bid for Werner’s Germany international team mate Kai Havertz very soon, according to The Telegraph.
