At this point in time, you would be wise to start believing that Kai Havertz to Chelsea might actually happen this summer.
Chelsea are expected to make a formal offer to Bayer Leverkusen for the 21-year old midfielder after their German Cup Final game today, as per The Telegraph.
In this report, it is mentioned that Bayern Munich will rival Chelsea to sign the German international. However, Bayern’s CEO confirmed yesterday that his club will not be making a move to sign Havertz this summer, as reported by BILD’s Christian Falk on his Twitter feed.

So this leaves the door wide open for Chelsea to have a free run at their priority target, and to boost this news even more, it’s been reported that Leverkusen have an agreement with Havertz to let him leave in the next transfer window – which is this summer!
Goal tweeted this yesterday on the subject..
