Romano: Havertz ‘would like’ Chelsea move ‘because of the project’ Werner ‘would push him to join’

Things are moving fast in the Kai Havertz to Chelsea story, and even we are finding it hard to keep up with the news!

Source after source seems to be coming out with their latest updates, and the good news for Chelsea fans is that all of them are reliable sources, and all of them are pretty much saying the same thing.

A number of top sources gave their updates on the story yesterday, but now the transfer expert and the one that most consider to be the best in the business, Fabrizio Romano, has given his update on the story.

He believes that Havertz ‘would like’ to move to Chelsea ‘because of the project’ and that his German international team mate Timo Werner ‘would push him to join.’

He also states that ‘Havertz will consider talks about personal terms (until 2025) if Chelsea will make an official bid to Leverkusen soon.’

The fee will be the issue, but there is confidence that it can be negotiated and agreed between the two parties as it looks more likely by the day that Havertz will become a Chelsea player.
