As it stands, Chelsea winger Willian is leaving the club having not signed a new contract. And Chelsea’s FA Cup Final opponents this weekend is Arsenal, who reportedly have an interest in signing Willian on a free transfer this summer.
As The Metro report, due to these uncertainties, Blues boss Frank Lampard is considering leaving Willian on the bench on Sunday.
They claim that Sunday’s match could be Willian’s last in a Chelsea shirt, and it is ironically against the team he could be turning out for next season.
There is a lot of speculation and a lot to be confirmed yet though.
