You’d be a braver person than me right now if you placed a bet against Kai Havertz joining Chelsea.
Whilst nothing is done yet, it really does seem like the stars are aligning for the 21-year old German international to soon become a Chelsea player.
The majority of top sources are in agreement that it is Chelsea who are in pole position to sign Havertz, and that it is just about agreeing a fee between the two clubs.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano backed this up with his tweet updates yesterday…
Havertz will consider talks about personal terms (until 2025) if Chelsea will make an official bid to Leverkusen soon.

Now The Daily Mail have ran a report on the story this morning claiming that Chelsea ‘are set to sign Havertz for £90 million.’
They state that this fee is the players release clause, and that Chelsea are the only club willing to meet it.
It certainly does now have a feel of a deal that will be completed sooner rather than later.
