Chelsea have received a massive boost ahead of their Premier League match against Sheffield United on Saturday evening.
Despite still looking likely to be without both N’Golo Kante and Billy Gilmour, there has been confirmation that Mateo Kovacic has rejoined full training once again.
The Times journalist Tom Roddy tweeted the update yesterday and claimed that the Croatian international is ‘expected to be available’ to face Sheffield United on Saturday evening.
Some positive injury news at Chelsea. Kovacic is back in full training after recovery from an Achilles injury and is expected to be available for Saturday's trip to Sheffield United. #cfc

The Blues and The Blades face up in a fight to qualify for European football next season, and it is Chelsea who sit in a healthy third place in the league.
But the news of Kovacic coming back in will be a welcome injection for Frank Lampard, and he will be in contention to start the match in that deep midfield position with Jorginho being out of favour with the Blues boss right now.
We will be eagerly awaiting his line up announcement at approx 4.30pm tomorrow night.
