Kai Havertz ‘wants to talk with his club’ this Thursday and ask them to ‘let him go to Chelsea’

Things are really beginning to heat up now in Chelsea’s intentions to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz.

As many sources rush to get their latest news out on a situation that seems to be progressing fast, one of the top sources on the story has put out his latest tweet.

There was suggestions that Havertz might have to play in the Europa League for Bayer next month before being allowed to join Chelsea.

However, it looks like the 21-year old will ask his club if he can leave sooner to join Chelsea when he attends training this Thursday, according to the reliable BILD journalist Christian Falk.

This would mean that Chelsea will be able to get a deal done much sooner, and a lot like what happened with Timo Werner not playing Champions League football for RB Leipzig, Chelsea will hope the same happens here.

I wouldn’t get Havertz on your Chelsea shirt just yet, but I’d certainly start planning to!
