Kai Havertz ‘dreams’ of playing in the Premier League as Chelsea ready first offer

The Kai Havertz transfer saga is reaching it’s pinnacle point today as the German international prepares to play in the German Cup Final for Bayer Leverkusen.

Chelsea are expected to make their first formal offer for the 21-year old midfielder after the game today, according to The Telegraph.

Chelsea have also received a massive double boost in their pursuit of Havertz, as we reported earlier today.

The positive news keeps coming, and this is right after Havertz’s team mate, Wendell, admitted that his current club man ‘dreams’ of playing in the Premier League.

Wendell believes that Havertz will be a success in England if he decides to go there, which at the moment is looking quite likely.

As reported by The Sun, Wendell said:

“Psychologically, the Germans are very focused people.

“They are very concentrated on what they want. If he goes to the Premier League, he will learn a lot.

“I think Kai dreams of playing there. He has that desire, and I think he decides to play in England he will be a success.

“He has a facility to understand what the manager wants. He finishes well with both feet. He’s strong with his head, he has good technique.”

And perhaps ironically, right after Frank Lampard has been talking about the need to add more height to his squad (as per The Telegraph), Havertz stands at the tall stature of 6ft 2in, and we know he is very good in the air.

You know what to do Chelsea!
