Italian side looking to sign two Chelsea first team players this summer

With all the new players arriving and expected to arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer, there are bound to be some pretty big profile outgoings as well.

One of them looks almost certain to be left back Emerson Palmieri, with Inter getting ready to offer £19 million plus add-on’s for his services, according to Goal.

But if that deal goes ahead, the departures aren’t expected to stop there.

Striker Olivier Giroud has become a pretty important player for Frank Lampard since football resumed. However, with the arrival of Timo Werner at Chelsea, along with top goalscorer Tammy Abraham, Giroud could well drop down the pecking order and become unhappy with a lack of game time once again.

His former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen on signing Giroud as well as Emerson, according to the same report from Goal.

Giroud extended his Chelsea contract by another year a couple of months back, but it was believed at the time it could be in case Chelsea wanted to get a fee to sell him this summer.
