“Should have been cleared” – Some Chelsea fans rage at this player after game-changing error

Chelsea dominated the early possession against Sheffield United, but we always knew the Blades were going to be dangerous, and they’ve just scored to take the lead.

Mason Mount has been the fall-guy for most fans, as he tried to dribble out of his own area to start a counter attack rather than just clearing the ball.

It seems a little unfair, as it was actually a catalogue of errors. Mount gives up the chance to begin with, but then the central defenders fail to clear the cross, Kepa fails to hold the shot, Reece James plays everyone onside and the defenders are slow to react once again as David McGoldrick reacted to score.

They’ve now scored their second, and it will be a tough battle back from here.
