Chelsea make world class goalkeeper number one priority signing this summer

Chelsea are continuing to be linked with potential new goalkeepers as the doubts over Kepa Arrizabalaga’s future at the club grow.

The Spanish international could be sold or loaned out by Chelsea this summer, or even offered as part of a deal to sign a new goalkeeper.

This is according to an exclusive from The Daily Mirror, who are claiming that The Blues have made Atletico Madrid’s world class keeper Jan Oblak their number one priority signing this summer.

The Slovenian international has a £120 million buy-out-clause in his contract, and Chelsea are looking to fund a deal by offering Kepa plus cash for the 27-year old.

Chelsea value Oblak at less than £100 million, so any deal along with Kepa would be what they believe to be close to that value in total.

Oblak is regarded by many as the best goalkeeper in the world, so this would be a massive coup for Chelsea.
