Chelsea hatch a tempting plan to sign Manchester United goalkeeper

The Chelsea goalkeeper conundrum continues, and things are only going to get more dramatic in this story.

Each day seems to bring a new rumour regarding a potential new goalkeeper arriving at Chelsea, and the future of current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga in doubt.

There have been more than a handful of names mentioned as potential Chelsea targets in the last few months, but the one goalkeeper that keeps coming up is Manchester United stopper Dean Henderson.

The England international is currently on loan at Sheffield United, but he is wanted by Chelsea as per a number of sources including the latest report from The Manchester Evening News.

They believe that Chelsea are ready to offer Henderson more than double his current wages in an attempt to coax him down to Stamford Bridge and join the club this summer.

The 23-year old certainly has a big decision to make in the next month or so, with David De Gea firmly staying as United’s number one keeping as things stand.
