Chelsea goalkeeper has ‘resigned himself’ to never playing for the club again

It has been a season to forget for Chelsea’s club record signing Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Spanish international has been inconsistent between the sticks to say the least and as a result, he has lost the faith of first team head coach, Frank Lampard.

Chelsea look set to address the situation this season and could either loan or sell the expensive stopper, and then bring in a replacement.

According to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo (as translated with further information by Sport Witness), Kepa has ‘resigned himself’ to never playing for Chelsea again.

They claim that he is ‘desperately looking for a way out’, because he doesn’t feel Lampard has faith in him.

The issue could be finding a suitable buyer for Kepa due to his high fee, high wages, and his poor form this season.

Chelsea will almost certainly have to take a big loss if they sell him this summer, and if they loan him, they will probably have to pay some or all of his wages.
