Another day, another strong Kai Havertz to Chelsea rumour from another top source.
This time, it’s German publication BILD providing the update.
This outlet has close links to German sides and when they start reporting on anything related, you know you’d be wise to start listening.
As per the report, Kai Havertz has asked to leave Bayer Leverkusen in his discussions with the club, and Chelsea and Real Madrid are the two named interested clubs.
His value is quoted at being 100 million euros, and if Chelsea are to complete this deal, they reportedly want to pay it off in instalments.
Madrid were previously reported to be ‘hesitating’ on their move for the 21-year old midfielder, as per BILD’s very own Christian Falk recently.

It was also reported yesterday by Goal’s Chelsea correspondent Nizaar Kinsella that it is Chelsea who are in pole position to sign the German international this summer.
