After months of no news in the footballing world, Chelsea fans are suddenly hearing about a major breakthrough.
Timo Werner, who looked all but guaranteed to be going to Liverpool, is now apparently very close to agreeing a switch to the Blues.
Understandably, after such a long period without much to talk about, Football Twitter has gone wild, and Blues fans all over are getting super hyped about the prospects of their front 3 next season.
There are questions about where he might fit in, but that’s for later. Right now is the time to celebrate getting a great player, right from under our vials noses. As one user put it – “We’ve only gone and done it again!”
