N’Golo Kante is back in full training with Chelsea at last, according to a breaking report from Matt Law of the Telegraph.
The former Leicester man has been sitting out of the practices with his teammates and just working on his own because of his fears about the coronavirus.
Kante has a family history of illnesses which may be worsened by infection, but clearly he now considers the situation safe to return to. Players are being tested weekly, and there are very few positives being returned in the top flight.
As recently as last night we were writing how doubtful it was looking that the France midfielder would be able to play in our opening games, given he’s only been doing individual training and couldn’t get close to full fitness doing just that.
But now with 10 days to prepare to face Aston Villa, the chances are looking much improved. If anyone can get match fit in 10 days, it’s Kante.
