Lille confirm offers have been made for Chelsea striker target

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard’s striker pursuit seems to be no closer to being concluded as a host of names are still continuing to enter the fray.

Of course, the transfer window is not even open yet, but there doesn’t appear to be any one front runner at this point.

Chelsea signed Hakim Ziyech from Ajax out of nowhere back in January, so anything could be going on behind the scenes.

One striker they have been quietly linked with signing is Lille’s Nigerian international Victor Osimhen.

The 21-year old could soon be making one of the biggest moves of his career, with a host of clubs interested in signing him.

In fact, many of these clubs have already presented Lille with an offer, according to owner Gerard Lopez.

As reported by Football London, Lopez said:

“There are multiple offers [for Osimhen]. We turned down one English and one Spanish offer this January transfer window.

“Whatever number you heard, the high number I have read is very much on the money of the offers that we have received. That’s where we are.”

Chelsea may well be one of these clubs that have made an offer, and it could have been kept quiet in a similar way to the Ziyech offer was. But nothing has been revealed yet, and we must wait and see of this outcome.
