Chelsea have received a boost to their own transfer funds this summer by sealing a deal to sell one of their serial loan army members.
According to Sports Journalist Nicolo Schira, Chelsea have sold midfielder Mario Pasalic to Atalanta for the agreed 15 million euros (£13.4m) option to buy fee.

The option was inserted by the two clubs when agreeing the loan move to the Serie A.
Pasalic has performed well enough in Italy to earn himself a permanent move there, and he will leave Chelsea having not made a single senior appearance for them and going through 5 loan clubs whilst he was there.
At 25-years old, Pasalic can now have some kind of stable future at a club and hopefully the Croatian international can go on to be a successful player.
Chelsea’s loan army will shrink by one, but their transfer budget has grown by a substantial fee with this clever move by them.
