Things have blown up for Chelsea over the last few days in terms of reliable transfer news coming through.
It has been hard to keep up with the reports as it appears they are now very close to announcing another new signing for the summer.
According to one of the most reliable transfer news sources in the world, Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have a ‘verbal agreement’ with RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner to join the club this summer.
He says that Chelsea will pay his release clause and expects the deal to be announced soon.

There was some belief that Liverpool will still attempt to enter the fray and hijack a deal, but Romano has pretty much put that rumour to bed as well.
