Some transfer stories just seem to stick around year after year, and this particular Chelsea link is one of those.
Alex Telles of Porto is often linked with making a move to Chelsea transfer window after transfer window, and he once again has had some recent links with making the move this summer.
But the stories since died down and it looked as if Telles was destined to join PSG.
But as reported by Sport Witness, Chelsea are once again back in the frame to sign the Brazilian left back.
This is because current PSG left back Layvin Kurzawa could now be renewing his contract at the club, meaning they may not be pursing the Porto man.
This of course leaves the door open for Chelsea, who remain a ‘strong possibility for his future’ according to the report.
They say that Chelsea are ‘especially active’ in the transfer window, and continue to see the Brazilian as a ‘good option’ for the left-back position.
