Chelsea’s name has been busy spinning within the transfer rumour mill over the last few days as business seems to be heating up.
Today they are being linked with another new name for Chelsea fans to discuss, Brazilian midfielder Gerson.
Fox Sports Brasil are running the report, and they claim that Chelsea are readying an offer to sign the 23-year old.
His club, Flamengo, want at least 35 million euros (£31m) for the former Brazil under-20 international, and he is also wanted by Dortmund.
Gerson played in Italy for a few seasons for Roma and a loan spell at Fiorentina, before returning back to Brazil in 2019.
He plays mainly as a central midfielder but can also operate on the right wing.
