On this day in 2009, Chelsea were at Wembley once again, taking on Everton for the right to lift the FA Cup.
The Blues have a superb record in that competition, and they just don’t lose FA Cup finals when Didier Drogba is involved. The Ivorian rose high to thump home a magnificent header to level the score, and the ice man himself Frank Lampard drove home a brilliant strike on his left foot to win the game and secure another trophy for that incredible team.
What great memories – even that yellow kit was nice in hindsight!
