Victor Moses hoping to stay at Inter with his “most important coach”

Victor Moses is one of those players who has never really settled, and despite nearing 30 he’s not quite managed to make one club his own.

His talent has been clear from a young age, but since leaving Wigan to try his luck with Chelsea, he’s been bounced around never quite fitting in.

The exception to that was two glorious years under Antonio Conte at Chelsea. There he had a manager who knew how to play to his strengths, and Moses looked like a world beater under Conte for about a year and a half.

He jumped at the chance to join his old boss at Inter in the second half of this season, and his latest quotes indicate he’s keen to stay in Milan if possible:

“I have had many coaches that I liked playing for, but Antonio Conte was the most important. He arrived at Chelsea and totally played my way of playing. He gave me a combative spirit and that confidence in myself that I needed. I went onto the pitch to play for him, besides for the fans and club. Having the opportunity to work with him again has made me really happy”, the wide man said in quotes picked up by Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“Milan is a beautiful city. I hope to enjoy myself here for a long time and to have a great future in nerazzurro. I have positive sensations and we’ll do everything to reach our goals and make the fans proud,” the former Crystal Palace man added.

We’re sure Chelsea want rid of him at this stage, and won’t ask for much of a fee – so if Conte persuades Inter to pay up for a permanent deal, everyone could end up happy.
