Valencia reportedly showing interest in signing Chelsea goalkeeper

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has had to deal with some issues at the very heart of his defence this season, his final line of defence.

The clubs record signing Kepa Arizzabalaga has been struggling with inconsistent form this season after a reasonably decent first season since arriving from Atletic Bilbao.

But Lampard grew frustrated with the form of his number one stopper and dropped him for a few games in favour of veteran backup Willy Caballero.

This of course sparked rumours that Lampard could now look to sell his expensive goalkeeper, and according to Spanish publication SPORT, Valencia are showing an interest in signing him this summer.

If Chelsea do decide to sell him this summer, it is highly unlikely that they will get anywhere near the £71.6 million that they paid for him (as per Sky Sports).

I guess it all depends how badly Valencia want to sell him, and if Chelsea can or even want to find a suitable replacement.
