Emerson Palmieri’s time at Chelsea is coming to an end, it seems.
The full back has had two and a half seasons to impress, and despite the occasional flash – in particular at the start of this season – he just hasn’t done the business.
The player seems to know his time is up too, and his agent has started laying the groundwork for a move back to Serie A.
The man himself, Fernando Garcia, gave an exclusive interview with TuttoJuve where he insisted his client was happy at Chelsea, and that the club, but admitted there had been interest from Juve before, and that “the only one who can answer this question is God” when it came to a potential move in the future.
He was also asked about whether he knew if Juve manager Maurizio Sarri had any specific in his client, and denied knowing the former Chelsea boss personally – but admitted that he too had heard the rumours.
Despite all this, and his general assertion that Emerson is happy in London, the fact remains that he was speaking to TuttoJuve – and why else would he do that if he wasn’t planning to at least angle for a move?
