Chelsea set for financial boost ahead of active summer transfer window

We are fast approaching the start of the summer transfer window, and although things could look different for many, Chelsea are still planning an active summer window, according to The Telegraph.

The report claims that Chelsea are looking to sign a new left back, a centre back, a winger, and a striker this summer.

Chelsea are thought to be one of the clubs that will remain financially more comfortable than many others in the face of the pandemic due to Roman Abramovich’s backing.

They will also look to fund their summer business with other player sales such as Alvaro Morata, who will fetch around £50 million with Atletico Madrid’s obligation to buy.

As well as that and a host of other deals, Chelsea will soon be collecting another 15 million euros to add to those funds from forgotten midfielder Mario Pasalic.

As per Tuttosport (translated by Sport Witness), Chelsea have agreed the fee to sell Pasalic to Atalanta this summer.

He has been on loan in Italy since 2018 and the final obligation to buy fee has been agreed.
